"You know, coming back in time, changing history, that's cheating."

Kirk: "Who was that pointy-eared bastard?"
Bones: "I don't know, but I like him."

Bones: "Space is disease and danger wrapped in darkness and silence."
Kirk: "Well, I hate to break this to you, but Starfleet operates in space."
Bones: "Yeah, well I got nowhere else to go. My ex-wife took the whole damn planet in the divorce. All I got left is my bones."

"I like this ship! You know, it's exciting!"

Kirk: "Where are we?"
McCoy: "Medical Bay."
Kirk: "This isn't worth it."
McCoy: "A little suffering's good for the soul."

Kirk: "Where you came from... did I know my father?"
Spock: "Yes... you often spoke of him as being your inspiration for joining Starfleet. He proudly lived to see you become captain of the Enterprise."
Kirk: "CAPTAIN?"
Spock Prime: "A ship we must return you to as soon as possible."
