Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol is a 2011 American action film and the fourth installment in the Mission Impossible film series. The film is about a secret mission of the IMF team that goes wrong in Moscow and leads to the destruction of the Kremlin. The US government denies responsibility and the IMF agents are forced to continue working without support from their organization. They must stop a terrorist organization called "The Syndicate," which poses a global threat and is responsible for attacks on the Kremlin and the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, among others.
In search of information about "The Syndicate", the mission takes the IMF team to various countries, including Russia, India and England. Along the way, they must repeatedly master dangerous situations and react to unforeseen events. Ethan Hunt and his colleagues will use their skills and experience to defeat the Syndicate and save the world from disaster.
The cinematography in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol is by Robert Elswit, who has already won awards for such films as Magnolia and There Will Be Blood. The action scenes are spectacular and intricately choreographed, especially the famous climbing sequence on the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, where Tom Cruise actually climbed himself without a false bottom.
