Kim and Alex want to adopt an orphan in Thailand. Due to the change in adoption law in Thailand, only married couples are allowed to adopt children, which causes some unexpected challenges to the same-sex couple. Alex's brother Cesar, a car dealer who is on the brink of bankruptcy, gets involved to play play the husband. If it weren't for Dr Luix, the doctor at the orphanage and an advocate of the old family role model, who quickly realizes that something is wrong here.
