Jessica Schwarz is a German actress who was born on May 5, 1977 in Erbach in the Odenwald. She grew up in Michelstadt and, after graduating from high school, completed an apprenticeship as an advertising saleswoman. Meanwhile, she began acting and completed her first small role in the television series "Zwei Allein" (1999).
She had her first major role in 2001 in the feature film "Das Weiße Rauschen", for which she won the Bavarian Film Award as best young actress. Other successful films followed, such as "Kammerflimmern" (2004), "Nichts als Gespenster" (2006) and "Romy" (2009), in which she portrayed the role of Romy Schneider.
In recent years, Jessica Schwarz has also increasingly appeared in international productions, including the French TV series "La Chaîne" (2008) and the British film "Effie Gray" (2014).
In addition to her work as an actress, Jessica Schwarz is also involved in various social projects and is an ambassador for the aid organization "Brot für die Welt".
