David: "For two hundred years the greatest scientific minds have lived here to test a theory. If we could rescue people from a toxic environment and put them in a safe place like Chicago perhaps they would heal it."
Tris: "And I'm one of those people?"
David: "You are the only one."

"They're trying to destroy us."

"People think walls separate us, but they also protect us. Those people out there kept us in a cage for two hundred years. That is not someone I want to engage with."

David: "Tris, to your people you were a divergent. To me you are a miracle. You are genetically pure, the rest are damaged."
Tris: "Uhm?"
David: "Damaged. You are the only one worth saving."

Four: "You know, it's gonna be hard getting over the wall."
Tris: "Are you sure that you want to do this?"

"Tris, it is a pleasure to finally meet you."

Four: "How do they know who we are?"
Matthew: "Our surveillance technology is centuries ahead anything you've ever known. They've grown up watching you."
Peter: "Nothing creepy about that."

David: "Where are you going?"
