Stephen: "I will write a book."
Jane: "About what?"
Stephen: "Time."
Jane: "Time?"
Stephen: "What is the nature of time? Will it ever come to an end? Can we go back in time? Some day these answers may seem as obvious to us as the Earth orbiting the sun, or perhaps as ridiculous as a tower of tortoises. Only time, that's what we say."

"Your glasses are always dirty."

Jane: "So, I take it you've never been to church?"
Stephen: "Once upon a time."
Jane: "Tempted to convert?"
Stephen: "I have a slight problem with the celestial dictatorship premise."

Jane: "What about you? What are you?"
Stephen: "Cosmologist, I'm a Cosmologist."
Jane: "What is that?"
Stephen: "It is a kind of religion for intelligent atheists."
