Charlie Sheen is an American actor who was born on September 3, 1965 in New York City. He is the son of the famous actor Martin Sheen and the brother of Emilio Estevez.

Sheen began his acting career in the 1980s and starred in such films as "Platoon" and "Wall Street". He also became known for his role in the successful sitcom "Two and a Half Men," in which he starred from 2003 to 2011. Sheen has also appeared in other TV series, such as "Spin City."

In recent years, Sheen has struggled with public drug problems and personal scandals. He also announced that he is infected with the HIV virus. Despite these challenges, Sheen has continued to work in films and TV series, including the TV adaptation of "Anger Management."
