Terence Hill, born Mario Girotti on March 29, 1939 in Venice, Italy, is an Italian actor, director and screenwriter. He became internationally known for his collaboration with Bud Spencer in numerous successful Italo-Western comedies.
Hill grew up in Italy and began his acting career at a young age. He first appeared in Italian films before achieving international fame. His breakthrough came in the 1960s and 1970s with the so-called "spaghetti westerns," a popular genre of films produced in Italy. Together with his longtime partner Bud Spencer, Hill formed an iconic duo known for their humorous, action-packed films.
