The Kims are a working-class family living in a run-down business district in Seoul. To make ends meet, they use small and large scams and every possible way to save money, such as using the neighbors' hacked Wi-Fi. When the son of the family substitutes for a friend and gives English lessons, they find a way in their own bizarre manner to gradually replace the other maids with their own family members and slowly take over the Parks' house.
