Clint Eastwood is an American actor, director, producer and composer, born on May 31, 1930 in San Francisco, California. He is one of the most famous and respected personalities in the film industry and has directed numerous award-winning films in his career.

Eastwood grew up in a family with Dutch-English roots and began acting in his youth. After graduating from Oakland Technical High School, he joined the Army and served in Korea as a swimmer and rescue diver. After his discharge from the military, he returned to California and began working in the film industry.

Eastwood got his first major role in the Western series "Rawhide" (1959-1965), in which he played cowboy Rowdy Yates. While filming "Rawhide," he also began a career as a film actor, appearing in such films as "For a Fistful of Dollars" (1964) and "Two Glorious Scoundrels" (1966).

In the 1970s, Eastwood also began to work as a director, making films such as "Dirty Harry" (1971) and "The Texan" (1976), which are among his most famous works. In the following decades he continued his successful career as a director and actor, winning numerous awards, including several Oscars and Golden Globes.

Away from the film industry, Eastwood is also involved in politics and supports the Republican Party. He served as mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, from 1986 to 1988 and was a delegate to the Republican National Conventions in 2001 and 2004.

Eastwood has seven children from five different relationships and currently lives in California. He is considered one of the most influential and versatile filmmakers of his generation and has left a lasting impression on the film industry.
