Jason Statham is a British actor and film producer who was born on July 26, 1967 in Shirebrook, Derbyshire, England. Before pursuing a career in acting, he was a professional water diver and a member of the British national team.

Statham began his acting career in the 1998 film Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" and quickly became one of Hollywood's most sought-after action actors thereafter. He is known for his roles in such films as "The Transporter" (2002), "Crank" (2006), "The Expendables" (2010), "Fast & Furious" (2013) and "Spy" (2015).

Statham is also a film producer and has produced several films, including "Redemption" (2013) and "Wild Card" (2015). He is known for his tough action roles, which he often plays himself, and has earned a reputation as one of the best stuntmen in the business.

Statham is also known as a proponent of the martial art Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has featured the sport in several films. He is a trained martial artist and also has experience in kickboxing, kung fu and karate.

Apart from his acting career, Statham is also known for his personal relationships, including his long-term relationship with model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. He is also an avid diver and supports environmental organizations that work to protect oceans and marine life.
